The Montana room
07. February - 24. January 2016

The Montana Room (Montanasalen) is a meeting space with character. For the last 10 years, a variety of established Danish artists and designers have been asked to create installations in Montanasalen (former Salen), making it an inspiring setting for meetings of any kind. This commission has now been given to the Danish artist FOS who has created a new installation for the space.

For many years FOS (Thomas Poulsen, b. 1971, DK) has worked with what he defines as social design, which take into consideration matters belonging to art, architecture and design and adresses our social structures.

“The things we surround ourselves with constitute a link between language, actions and our bodies and represent the centre of this trinity. The object is a part of the space and the space is always half of our conversations.“ - FOS

The Montana Room can be rented at half-or full-day basis. Contact event coordinator Majken Christiansen on telephone 3336 0262 or mc@glstrand.dk for more information on use and hire or see under 'Use and Hire'.
