THOMAS HIRSCHHORN: COMMUNITY OF FRAGMENTS
"A ruin stands for a structural, an economical, a cultural, a political or a human failure." - Thomas Hirschhorn
The world-renowned Swiss artist Thomas Hirschhorn transforms large parts of GL STRAND into a labyrinthine ruin in an extensive project where the building seems to implode from the inside. Based on the extensive site-specific installation, Hirschhorn investigates the relationship between destruction and creation.
All visitors are invited to participate in the reconstruction of GL STRAND in a workshop centered in the middle of the exhibition.
