Member's lottery

Since the foundation of Kunstforeningen it has been a tradition to dispose of art works to our art society members at an annual art lottery. The art works are either ordered from the artist, bought for this purpose or donated by supporting members. Many of the works which have been distributed through the years are now placed in grand international museums. Among these are many unique works by prominent Danish artists such as Christoffer William Eckersberg, Peder Severin Krøyer and Asger Jorn.

The tradition of the art lottery is still maintained. Future art lotteries will be announced in the news magazine GL STRAND Nyt (in Danish only), in our newsletter or on our website.
